The staff is frequently praised for being friendly and helpful, enhancing the overall experience. However, a few reviewers suggest that more explanations about the science behind the illusions could be beneficial.
Overall, the Museum of Illusions Amsterdam provides a fun, family-friendly diversion that offers a break from traditional museum experiences. It's particularly enjoyed by those interested in photography, optical illusions, and interactive exhibits. While it may not be an all-day attraction, it offers a unique and memorable experience for most visitors.
I visited the museum with a group of friends and had such a great experience! The staff were super friendly, and helped to explain how some of the illusions worked, and helped us to take photos. We spent almost 2 hours in the museum, and especially loved the puzzles which we spent about 3o mins trying to solve, and the vortex tunnel which was crazy! The building was also very beautiful, in a former church on a canal! Definitely recommend!
