Museum of Zoology "P. Doderlein" and its collection

Museum of Zoology "P. Doderlein"

The Museum of Zoology was founded in the second half of the 19th century by Prof. Pietro Doderlein, from whom it inherited the name and vision. The building still preserves the original structure and furniture, which immediately make visitors feel the atmosphere of old times. A nineteenth-century aura blends together with the modernity of which the museum has always been a bearer, as a driving force for research and organization of scientific events. Also, conferences led by academic lecturers of national and international institutions, as well as laboratory activities for children, are regularly planned.
