In the corner of the Botanical Garden in Copenhagen, you will find the Natural History Museum of Denmark. Here close to Nørreport Station, you can experience the beautiful old mineral halls and explore the temporary exhibitions on the world of nature. The museum also manages the Zoological Museum in Østerbro. Here you can get close to a variety of both now living and prehistoric animals, stuffed, fossilized or as skeletons. The Botanical Garden holds a collection of living plants consisting of about 12,000 different plant species such as orchid, cacti, carnivorous plants and exotic tree species.
