The David Collection (Davids Samling) is an art museum in Copenhagen that is housed in a neoclassical building opposite the Rosenborg castle gardens. The museum of the David Collection holds and displays art and crafts from 18th-century Europe, from the Danish Golden Age, modern Danish art, and one of the most important collections of Islamic art in northern Europe. The origin of the museum is the private collection of the jurist Christian Ludvig David. The European and Danish collections includes furniture, porcelain and faience, silverware, sculptures, and ceramics and paintings.
