The Royal Danish Naval Museum (Orlogsmuseet) is a museum in Copenhagen that is dedicated to the history of the Royal Danish Navy. The core of the museum's collections is the unique historical model collection that dates back to the end of the 17th century. The collection consists of several hundred large and small models. These models were used as a kind of construction drawings and are therefore built on an exact scale. In addition to the historical models, the museum has acquired several modern models of newer warships and a collections of a large amount of weapons, uniforms, navigation equipment and tools for shipbuilding.
