Bullecourt is a small commune in northern France, located in the Pas-de-Calais department in the Hauts-de-France region. The village holds significant historical importance, particularly related to World War I.

In 1917, it was the site of two major battles between German and Allied forces, known as the First and Second Battles of Bullecourt. These battles, which were part of the larger Battle of Arras, resulted in heavy casualties on both sides.

Today, Bullecourt maintains its connection to this history through the Jean and Denise Letaille Museum Bullecourt 1917, which houses a collection of World War I artifacts and tells the story of the Australian troops who fought in the area. The surrounding countryside, once a battlefield, now serves as a peaceful agricultural landscape, but numerous memorials and cemeteries in the vicinity stand as reminders of its wartime past.
