Ellis is a small city located in Ellis County, Kansas, United States. Founded in 1873 as a station on the Kansas Pacific Railway, the city played an important role in the development of the American frontier and railroad history.

Today, Ellis maintains its historic charm while serving as a rural community in western Kansas. The city preserves its cultural heritage through various historic sites and maintains its connection to its railroad past.

The Walter P. Chrysler Boyhood Home, located in Ellis, honors the famous automobile pioneer who spent his early years in the city and began his mechanical career working on the railroad here.

    This place is just terrible here’s why: The bathrooms were terrible it looked like it had not been cleaned in 3 week and I even saw a cock roach. Another thing is that the staff were rude and not helpful at all about questions I had about the cars.
