Evere is one of the nineteen municipalities of the Brussels-Capital Region in Belgium. Located in the northeastern part of Brussels, this residential area combines urban development with green spaces.

The municipality has a rich industrial heritage, particularly in the food industry, as evidenced by the historical presence of mills and the former Cacao Barry chocolate factory. Today, Evere hosts several cultural institutions and maintains various parks and green areas that provide recreational spaces for its residents. The area is also home to the Brussels Cemetery, one of the largest cemeteries in Belgium, which features notable funerary architecture and serves as an important historical site.
