Ireland is a country in Northwestern Europe which has more than 4.5 million inhabitants. The country covers about 80 percent of the island of the same name. The other part of the island belongs to Northern Ireland, which in turn belongs to the United Kingdom. Dublin is the capital of the country, located on the east coast. Characteristics of the country are the green hills, clovers, harps and leprechauns.

The country is featured twice on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The complex of prehistoric buildings 'Brรบ na Bรณinne', is featured on the list, which is a complex of temples and tombs built in the Stone Age at the Bend of the Boyne. In addition, Skellig Michael is on the list, a twin-pinnacled crag, which consists of approximately 44 acres of rock and that is known for its steep inhospitable landscape with its variety of inhabiting species and the Gaelic monastery founded between the 6th and 8th century.
