Neu-Moresnet, also known as New Moresnet, is a small village located in eastern Belgium, in the municipality of Kelmis (La Calamine) near the German and Dutch borders.

The area has a fascinating historical significance as it was once part of a unique neutral territory called Neutral Moresnet, which existed from 1816 to 1919. This territory was created due to a border dispute between the Netherlands and Prussia over valuable zinc deposits.

Today, Neu-Moresnet is part of the German-speaking Community of Belgium, reflecting the region's rich multicultural heritage. The area's industrial past, particularly in zinc mining, has shaped its cultural landscape, though most of these industrial activities have now ceased.
