Paulínia is a municipality located in the state of São Paulo, Brazil, approximately 118 kilometers from the state capital. The city, founded in 1964, has developed from a small agricultural community into a significant industrial center, largely due to the establishment of the Replan oil refinery, one of the largest in Brazil.
