San Ildefonso, also known as La Granja de San Ildefonso, is a historic town located in the province of Segovia, in the autonomous community of Castile and León, Spain. The town is primarily known for its impressive Royal Palace of La Granja, an 18th-century baroque palace built under the reign of Philip V of Spain. The palace was modeled after Versailles and features extensive, beautifully manicured gardens with ornate fountains.

The town is also historically significant for its Royal Glass Factory (Real Fábrica de Cristales), established in 1727, which was crucial to Spain's glass production industry and remains an important cultural landmark. The surrounding Sierra de Guadarrama mountains provide a scenic backdrop to this cultural destination, which combines royal heritage with artisanal traditions. The town maintains much of its historical character and continues to be an important center for Spanish cultural heritage.
