The Aquaria Vattenmuseum (the Aquaria Water Museum) is a show aquarium and natural history museum in Stockholm, located on the west side of the island of Djurgården. In the various aquariums, the aquatic life of the Baltic Sea, the tropical rainforest, the mangrove forests, the coral reef, the tropical ocean and a mountain lake with trout are featured. Day and night as well as various weather phenomena such as rain or thunderstorms are simulated. In adition to sea life, toads and insects, especially butterflies are kept in the aquarium. The museum focuses on all forms of water, from sea to sewage.
