The new complex of the M.H. de Young Museum was completed in 2005. The building was designed by architects Herzog & de Meuron from Switzerland and Fong & Chang from San Francisco, and it was opened to the public on October 15, 2005. The modern architecture of the museum is a sight to behold in itself, adding to the overall experience of visiting the museum.

Observation Tower at the M.H. de Young Museum

The museum features a 44-meter high observation tower that allows visitors to see a large part of the Golden Gate Park, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the entire Bay Area. This feature provides a unique opportunity to enjoy panoramic views of the city and its surroundings.

Art Collections at the De Young Museum
