Tierpark Hellabrunn or the Hellabrunn Zoo in Munich was founded in 1911 and is home to around 15.000 animals relating to 665 species (including the aquarium). This zoo in Munich is divided into 15 themes. It was the first Geo-zoo, where animals from every continent live together. The park is situated on the river Isar with many accommodations separated in a natural way through canals. The zoo features the following themes: Europe, America, Australia, Africa, Asia, Jungle House, Aquarium, Monkey House. Elephant House, Jungle Tent, Gian Turtle House, Villa Dracula, Polarium, Children's Zoo, and a large aviary.
