Museum Hilversum is housed in the monumental former town hall from 1931, designed by Willem Marinus Dudok. Architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning and the cultural history of Hilversum and ‘Het Gooi’ are themes the museum covers. ‘Het Nieuwe Bouwen’, media architecture, buildings by Dudok and Duiker and residential areas are part of the permanent exhibition. The museum also covers current issues in changing exhibitions.
