The recently reopened Media Museum is housed in the building of the Netherlands Institute for Sound & Vision in Hilversum. The museum is all about you: it's about your life in media - then, now and in the future. The museum tells the story of the great influence that media has on our daily lives. This great influence is clearly visible in five zones that deal with five important universal human needs: Share, Inform, Sell, Tell and Play. During your museum visit you will learn what you do with media and what media do to you - consciously and unconsciously. The museum is very interactive: you can make your own news, be a reporter of the news, put yourself in the shoes of an influencer or create your own game. The museum is also packed with audiovisual fragments and you will find special objects. The information in the Media Museum is all in Dutch.
