Museum Tre Kronor, located within the Royal Palace in Stockholm, offers visitors a glimpse into Sweden's royal history. The museum is dedicated to the original Tre Kronor Castle, which burned down in 1697 and was replaced by the current palace.

Visitors appreciate the well-preserved ruins and artifacts that provide insight into medieval Swedish architecture and royal life. The museum's exhibits are informative, showcasing the castle's history through various periods. Many find the audio guide helpful in understanding the context and significance of the displays.

The museum's location within the Royal Palace complex adds to its appeal, allowing visitors to explore other parts of the palace as well. Some reviewers note that while the museum is relatively small, it offers a concise and interesting experience.

On the downside, a few visitors mention that the museum might feel limited in scope for those expecting a more extensive collection. Additionally, some find the entrance fee a bit high for the size of the museum, especially if not combined with a full palace tour.
