Pauls Stradiņš Museum of the History of Medicine features a permanent exhibition that is designed to show visitors the evolution of medicine, how Latvian professor, physician, and surgeon Pauls Stradins wanted to show it. The museum holds a collection of around 200,000 objects of which every year thematic exhibitions are made to reflect today's topics and events. The story begins with the first steps of the evolution of medicine and ends with the Latvian developments and achievements in medicine.
