The Riga Art Nouveau Museum is housed in the building where Latvian architect Konstantīns Pēkšēns lived until 1907 that is characterized by its powerful dimensions and expressive silhouette. The ornamental reliefs feature stylized motifs from the local flora and fauna. It has an Art Nouveau spiral staircase with ornamental ceiling paintings. The interior of the house has bene renovated to what it was like in 1903. The museum exhibits the characteristic furnishings inside the decorated rooms and displays dishes, clothing and other objects in Art Nouveau style.
