Stoomgemaal De Tuut was built between 1916 and 1918 and took care of the necessary drainage of the land of Maas and Waal. Unlike other steam pumping stations in the Gelderland river area, Stoomgemaal De Tuut is preserved. This gives visitors the opportunity to get to know the world of pumping stations.
