The Moco museum (Modern Contemporary) in Amsterdam wants to make a wide range of modern and contemporary art available to the general public and focuses on the so-called ‘Rock Stars of Art’. Don’t be suprised if you find works of Salvador Dali, Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Haring, Andy Warhol, Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, and Picasso in the continuously changing, exhibitions. The Museum is located in an old Mansion on the Museum Square and mainly focuses on the iconic names in the international art world led by the new Warhol of street art; Banksy. MOCO Museum is displaying all his famous works like Laugh Now and Girl with the Balloon.

Uitmuntend.
Small new museum but very cute. Loads of original Banksy pieces on almost two floors and also Roy Lichtenstein on one and a half. The re-creation of his Arles/Van Gogh sleeping room has never been done before in The Netherlands as far as I know.
Small, bad structured, not clear. A few paintings of Warhol and Banksy that we all know, what to say more: it's a tourist trap.
With the Stedelijk Museum at 50 meters from Moco and same entrance fee, I certainly recommend to not waste your time in this museum.
