The Koppelkerk is a former church that was transformed into a sanctuary for art and culture over ten years ago. Come and soak up the culture in the picturesque book town of Bredevoort. During the day, the Koppelkerk is a museum with changing exhibitions; in the evening it transforms to a stage for lectures, concerts, and debates. Next to the exhibition space, the Koppelkerk offers a Book Café: a cozy living room surrounded by bookshelves. It's the perfect place to relax with a cup of coffee after viewing the art, or just to read the newspaper. Five times a year, Bredevoort Boekenstad organizes a large International Book Market at the Koppelkerk. The selection is varied, so there is something for every reader to discover.
