The Musée de l'Armée (the Army Museum) in paris is located in the Cathédrale de Saint-Louis-des-Invalides, which is part of the Hôtel des Invalides in Paris. Its historical military collection comprises more than 500,000 objects from the Middle Ages to modern times, including pieces like photos, paintings, medals, armor, sculptures, uniforms and weapons. The museum offers an exhibition area of approx. 8000 m² with a permanent exhibition that includes the historical collection, which also includes the Second World War. The temporary exhibitions show various thematic collections.
