The Louvre Museum in Paris is the largest art museum in the world. The museum is located inside the Louvre Palace which was once the residence of the French kings. It began its existence as a 12th-century fortress and its parts can still be seen in today’s Louvre. The palace was turned into a public museum during the French Revolution and it was opened for the first time in 1793. Nowadays, its most admired piece of art is Mona Lisa by Da Vinci. The museum is very large, covering nearly all epochs of human history except for modern art. Louvre Museum maps can guide you through your preferred route with all of the things that interest you.

We travelled across the world for the art in this museum and in the day of the booking nobody was allowed due to unanounced protests of the staff. No warning. No information anywhere. And they dont even let you reschedule. No effort to make it right at all. No respect for the tourists. The political problems here are no concern of tourists. This place cannot be trusted.

This places blows so much. If you want to see any form of “good” art, watch me parallel park.
