With the I Amsterdam City Card you get access to many museums, attractions and other activities in Amsterdam with one single card. The card is also valid in the surrounding area of Amsterdam, including Haarlem, Enkhuizen, the Zaanse Schans, Volendam/Marken and the Muiderslot. Besides free entry to museums and attractions, the I Amsterdam City Card allows you to travel using GVB (tram, bus and metro) in Amsterdam for free.
The museum element of the I amsterdam City Card is automatically activated on the first attraction or museum visit. The public transport element is automatically activated the first time a tram, bus or metro is used. Once activated, each element remains valid for a certain period, depending on the type of card.
